Lego Skylines, a new blocky city builder, was announced at Gamescom's Opening Night Live. Developed by Iceflake Studios, the team currently maintaining Cities: Skylines II, the game will launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Paradox Interactive will publish the title, returning to their long-time partnership with the franchise.

The announcement comes after Colossal Order was removed from Cities: Skylines II development following a contentious launch. The trailer showcases colorful Lego aesthetics alongside standard city builder mechanics, including residential plots and fire services.
