Town to City, the super adorable and incredibly cozy city-building game from indie studio Galaxy Grove, will leave early access and launch on Steam in its full voxel-art glory on May 26. The game first arrived in early access back in September 2025 and has since accumulated nearly 4,000 reviews with an impressive 98 percent positive rating.

Town to City offers a meditative, low-risk city-building experience set in a 19th century Mediterranean landscape. Players can customize their towns without a grid, placing streets and buildings wherever they like. There's no fail state, making it perfect for relaxation. The full launch will introduce a new map called Rocemarée, fresh buildings, quests, jobs and props. Players can also manage a secondary farming village and unlock new houses, businesses and animals.

Galaxy Grove has consistently hit its roadmap milestones throughout early access, with recent additions including terraforming features and seasonal decorations. The studio and publisher Kwalee plan to add controller support in the latter half of 2026. Meanwhile, a second team at Galaxy Grove is already working on Steam to Electric, a voxel-art rail tycoon game.
