The Smart Bricks enable Pokémon figures to make sounds, react to other devices, and even go to sleep. Two Smart Brick-enabled Pokémon can interact, talk, and battle, with the system accounting for type advantages and HP. Players can also use training equipment to boost stats and potions to heal Pokémon, mirroring gameplay mechanics. This deepens engagement, making the builds feel more like playing the games.

Initial sets feature beloved Pokémon from the original 151 and later generations, depicting iconic scenes and everyday moments. Extra touches like buildable food items and accessories enhance the play experience. While some character designs have a distinct Lego aesthetic, the overall interactivity and fun factor are high, with sets ranging from $15 to $120.
