Robotics company Humanoid has partnered with Bosch for mass production of its HMND 01 industrial robots following successful tests. Bosch will provide more than manufacturing support, offering strategic guidance and technical expertise across hardware design, production, and supply chain optimization. The European deployment plans come after the robots demonstrated full capability in complex industrial workflows.

The HMND 01 platform features two models: a bipedal version (5'10", 198 lbs) that walks at 5 ft/s with 3-hour battery life, and a wheeled model (7'3", 661 lbs) moving at 6.6 ft/s with 4-hour battery. Both handle 33 lbs payloads and successfully transferred various box sizes in a recent test using Humanoid's KinetIQ AI framework.

The partnership confirms technical readiness and scalability of Humanoid's approach. Bosch could expand its involvement by integrating parts like actuators and drives into future models. European warehouse workers now face concrete competition as these robots move from testing to full-scale production.
