How to Change and Customize Your Apple Watch Face

The Apple Watch blends fashion, notifications, and fitness into one sleek device. While many love its AI‑infused Siri updates, the real style comes from the watch face. Apple offers hundreds of faces, colors, and layouts, and the Watch app on the iPhone is your gateway to all customization.

Open the Apple Watch app, tap Face Gallery, and browse categories like Health & Fitness, Photos, and Data Rich. Scroll to the bottom and select ‘See All Watch Faces’ to explore faces from brands such as Nike and Disney. Hit ‘Get’ to download any face and add it to your collection.

For a personal touch, add photos: in the Face Gallery tap Photos, choose Shuffle or a specific album, then select up to 24 pictures from your camera roll. After customizing, tap Add to Watch. The watch will cycle through 16 photos daily, and you can create a face directly from any photo with ‘Create Watch Face.’

Edit complications by tapping Edit on a face, then tap a corner to add widgets like calendars, compasses, or niche data such as tide swells. Remove or rearrange faces by long‑pressing, swiping, and tapping the trash icon, or use the Edit button in the My Faces tab.
