Google is expanding access to Gemini Spark, its agentic AI assistant announced at I/O, to more paying subscribers. The feature remains unavailable to free users.

In the US, Spark is rolling out to all Google AI Pro subscribers paying $20 a month. Globally, Google AI Ultra users paying between $100 to $200 monthly gain access, except in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the UK, and Nigeria.

Powered by Gemini 3.5, Spark integrates deeply with Google Workspace apps. Users assign tasks via the Spark page on desktop sidebar or mobile menu. It can check emails and calendars daily to prioritize tasks, auto-draft responses for specific senders, summarize lengthy threads, and create detailed Google Docs reports from meeting notes and emails.
