Setup requires no app or Wi-Fi connection; users simply say 'Hey Emerson' followed by a command. The technology is robust enough to handle complex instructions, such as 'reheat pizza' on an air fryer, which can understand 100 cooking presets. While this offline approach ensures privacy, it comes with limitations like the inability to remotely control devices and potential confusion if multiple units respond to a wake word simultaneously.
