Amazon is expanding its Echo Show lineup with a full‑screen storefront powered by Alexa+. Starting today, owners of the 15‑inch and 21‑inch Echo Show models can launch the Amazon Shopping app and browse the site as on a browser, complete with product images, reviews, and storefronts. The interface scales to the 15‑inch screen, offering crisp visuals and responsive touch gestures for seamless navigation.

The upgrade also lets users change payment methods, switch delivery addresses, and finalize purchases directly from the display. Alexa+—the generative‑AI version of Amazon’s assistant—handles natural‑language queries and can compare items aloud. Access costs $20 a month, but Prime members receive the feature at no extra charge, effectively bundling it with existing subscriptions. Prime members also keep any existing saved payment preferences.

By mirroring the full Amazon.com experience on a smart display, the company aims to turn Echo Show devices into viable shopping hubs, potentially boosting hardware sales and increasing voice‑commerce volume. Consumers can now shop without pulling out a phone or laptop, tightening the ecosystem around Amazon’s retail and cloud services. Retailers benefit from immediate exposure to Echo Show’s growing user base.
