Deezer now lets listeners check any streaming service for AI‑generated music. The new web tool pulls a user’s playlists from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and others, then flags synthetic tracks. Only Deezer has blocked AI content outright, so this move expands its reach to rivals and empowers consumers to audit playlists before subscribing today.

Deezer’s CEO, Alexis Lanternier, said almost half of new users who switch from other platforms already carry AI tracks in their libraries. The company estimates that 75,000 AI‑generated songs land on its service daily, making up 44 percent of uploads. About 85 percent of those copies misappropriate human artists’ work, siphoning royalties for the music.

The detection engine claims over 99 percent accuracy in spotting synthetic recordings. By making the tool public, Deezer hopes to curb the spread of fraudulent streams that drain real artists’ revenue. Users can view and share results, turning the platform into a watchdog for the industry in the digital era and protect creative authenticity today.

Deezer’s move follows growing scrutiny over AI music’s legitimacy. By offering cross‑platform scanning, the service levels a new standard for transparency. Consumers can now audit their libraries, while artists gain a clearer picture of how much synthetic content infiltrates the market and ensures fair compensation for original creators today and protects the integrity of music.
