AT&T Launches $3 Unlimited Day Pass for iPad eSIM Users

AT&T introduced an Unlimited Day Pass that gives eligible iPad users 24 hours of cellular data for $3. The no-contract option works for anyone with an eSIM-enabled iPad dating back to 2019, including non-AT&T customers. Users activate it directly through iOS Settings without needing an app or Wi-Fi connection.

The service targets occasional connectivity needs like camping trips, weekends away, or giving students temporary internet access. AT&T emphasizes this as the first on-demand cellular option from a major US carrier for iPad users. No credit check or subscription commitment required.

Compatible devices span iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro models with eSIM capabilities. First-time users get one complimentary day pass, then pay the standard daily rate via credit or debit card. Activation begins immediately after purchase through the Cellular Data settings menu.

AT&T plans to add multi-day passes for weekends and week-long usage later. Network management may reduce speeds during congestion periods. This fills a gap for tablet users who need occasional connectivity without monthly fees.
