Apple is bringing Formula 1 racing to the Apple TV app in 2026 with comprehensive coverage of every grand prix. The tech giant will stream races live alongside practice sessions, sprint races, and both pre- and post-race coverage. A dedicated F1 channel in the Apple TV app will serve as the central hub for all racing content, including the latest season of *Drive To Survive*.

Apple will broadcast every race in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and 5.1 audio, offering viewers the F1 TV feed as the main broadcast alongside the Sky Sports feed. As part of Apple's deal with Formula 1, Apple TV subscribers will receive F1 TV Premium access for the 2026 season, unlocking features like onboard cameras, team radios, and live telemetry. This dual-app approach allows fans to choose between watching on Apple TV or using F1 TV Premium's additional features as a second screen setup.

The streaming service is introducing innovative features including Multiview options that support up to five feeds simultaneously, allowing fans to customize their viewing experience with main broadcasts, driver cameras, and race data. Additional features include a Driver Tracker, Driver Data displays, and dedicated feeds for all practice sessions. Apple is also integrating F1 coverage across its ecosystem with live radio commentary in Apple Music, detailed race day information in Apple Maps, and updated features in Apple News and Apple Sports. The 2026 F1 season kicks off with the Australian Grand Prix from March 6-8.
