Apple Music is introducing Selfie Sing, a new karaoke feature that lets users record videos of themselves singing along to songs. Launching with iOS 27.3, currently in beta, the feature displays scrolling lyrics in real time while capturing your performance. Unlike the earlier "Sing" function from 2022, Selfie Sing includes a dedicated playlist of popular tracks such as *Since U Been Gone* by Kelly Clarkson, *What Makes You Beautiful* by One Direction, and *Like a Virgin* by Madonna.
Users can apply vocal effects like Megaphone, Echo, Concert Hall, and Studio, adjust volume, and share recordings directly with friends. The feature is not compatible with the full Apple Music catalog and does not support Animoji. iOS 27.3 also brings updated Siri AI capabilities and a redesigned Health app, with wide release expected in December 2026.
