Apple's USB-C Magic Mouse is back on sale for $11 off its usual $79 retail price, bringing it down to $68. This 14 percent discount represents a rare price drop for one of Apple's premium accessories, which the company rarely discounts. The deal applies only to the white model, making it a timely opportunity for Mac users looking to upgrade their peripherals.

Originally released in 2009 and refreshed in 2015, the Magic Mouse received its latest update in 2024 with the addition of USB-C charging. The rechargeable mouse features multi-touch gesture controls and automatically pairs with Macs when connected via USB. While it can also connect to iPads via Bluetooth or Windows PCs, functionality is limited on non-Apple platforms. The mouse's design, famously created by Jony Ive, places the charging port on the underside of the body, making it unusable while charging.

Despite rumors of a more comprehensive redesign in 2024, Apple has not yet released any significant changes to the Magic Mouse. This sale offers Mac users a chance to purchase Apple's signature mouse at a reduced price, though the unconventional charging design remains a point of contention among users.
