Amazon has expanded its Amazon Luna streaming service with a compelling May lineup. Luna Standard, available to all Prime subscribers, now includes Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, the Resident Evil 2 remake, and Alien: Isolation as part of its rotating library. These additions join Luna's growing collection of local multiplayer games, giving Prime members more value beyond traditional benefits while competing with other game streaming platforms.

The service continues its expansion with Middle Earth: Shadow of War, LEGO Star Wars III, and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Prime members can also redeem codes for PC games through the Prime Gaming integration, including Mafia II: Definitive Edition available for download from GOG. This follows Amazon's integration of its separate Prime Gaming brand into Luna, expanding the service's offerings beyond just streaming content.

While adding new games, Amazon has also simplified Luna's business model. The company announced it will no longer sell third-party subscriptions or individual games through Luna. Existing customers can still access their purchased games through partnered stores, but those who bought through Luna specifically for streaming capabilities now face complications as Amazon repositions the service in an increasingly competitive market.
