At Computex, Acer unveiled the Aspire Go 15, a budget laptop featuring Snapdragon C chip. The device targets budget-conscious consumers with a 15.6-inch display, two USB-C ports, and HDMI connectivity. With a plastic body and up to 8GB RAM and 512GB storage, it's positioned for daily tasks rather than creative work that demands higher memory capacity.

The Aspire Go 15 represents Acer's answer to Apple's MacBook Neo, though with less premium construction. The limited RAM capacity reflects the industry's trend toward more affordable hardware that still meets basic computing needs. While pricing remains undisclosed, Acer promises an "entry-tier price point" later this year.

Acer also announced the Swift Spin 14 AI, a more powerful hybrid with Snapdragon X2 Elite/Plus chips, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage. This Copilot+ PC features extensive AI capabilities but faces market skepticism as consumers haven't embraced similar AI-focused laptops. The device launches this August.
