Steve Wozniak has reflected on Apple's 50-year journey, saying the company didn't predict computing's future but took the first steps toward making technology accessible to everyone. Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Woz joked that Apple's story began when he was born, before discussing the company's early days with co-founder Steve Jobs.

Wozniak recalled meeting Jobs on a sidewalk where neither imagined their circuit board project would evolve into a global tech giant. Their first computer sold 150 units, followed by six million Apple II computers - which Woz described as 'so far above any of the other computers coming out.' He emphasized that Apple didn't foresee the future but instead decided to 'take a step forward ahead of others.'

Current CEO Tim Cook called Jobs 'a once in a thousand years kind of person' in the anniversary coverage, while former hardware chief John Rubinstein described Jobs as 'brutal' in demanding excellence. Wozniak admitted he still admires Apple 'the most of all the tech companies' despite acknowledging that 'it's hard to be 100% perfect.' The anniversary coverage also revealed that Jobs wanted a proper corporate transition to avoid the paralysis that affected Disney after Walt Disney's departure.
