Nomad Tracking Card Pro Review: Premium Find My Tracker

Nomad has launched its Tracking Card Pro, a premium Find My-enabled tracker designed to blend seamlessly with Apple Card aesthetics. The device features a sleek metal-accented design and impressive 16-month battery life, making it a compelling alternative to AirTags for wallet-friendly tracking. Available in white and black, it maintains the same footprint as a standard credit card.

Unlike many competitors, the Tracking Card Pro is rechargeable via Qi or MagSafe, extending its lifespan beyond typical disposable trackers. The 2.5mm thickness houses a battery more than three times the capacity of Nomad's original model, though this bulk may prevent use in tight-fitting MagSafe wallets. The faux credit card design with printed chip and magnetic strip adds a layer of disguise.

The tracker integrates fully with Apple's Find My network, offering location tracking, audible chimes, and lost mode functionality. While it lacks ultra-wideband precision finding available to AirTags, the extended battery life and rechargeable design provide significant advantages. At $39, it's more expensive than an AirTag but offers unique benefits for users prioritizing form factor and longevity over precision tracking.
