Apple Trade-In Boosted, But Better Deals Exist

Apple has increased its trade-in values for many devices, including iPhones, Macs, Apple Watches, and iPads, potentially to offset weaker anticipated sales for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro.

Significant increases are seen on devices like the iPhone 16 Pro (up $70) and Mac Studio (up $260). However, not all models have seen price hikes, with some remaining unchanged. Apple's "up to" figures are estimates, with final values dependent on device condition and configuration.

Despite these improvements, users can often achieve better returns by comparing Apple's offers with those from carriers, other trade-in vendors like Back Market and Gazelle, or by selling directly on platforms like eBay. These alternative avenues can provide higher cash payouts rather than just store credit.
