Apple Updates Trade-In Values for iPhones, Macs, and More

Apple today revised its trade-in values for select iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch models, with some values increasing slightly while others decreased. The changes affect a wide range of devices, from the latest iPhone 16 series to older models like the iPhone 8. Trade-ins can be completed through Apple's website or at Apple Store locations.

Among iPhones, the iPhone 16 Pro Max saw a modest increase to $685 from $670, while the iPhone 15 Pro dropped to $375 from $400. The new iPhone 16e received its first trade-in value of $310, replacing the iPhone 16e in Apple's lineup. iPad trade-in values also shifted, with the iPad Air increasing to $445 from $400, while the iPad Pro decreased slightly to $670 from $685.

Mac trade-in values saw mixed changes, with the MacBook Pro dropping to $685 from $710 and the MacBook Air decreasing to $485 from $470. The high-end Mac Studio fell to $975 from $1,030, while the Mac Pro decreased to $2,090 from $2,520. Apple Watch values also changed, with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 dropping to $295 from $335 and the Apple Watch Series 10 decreasing to $150 from $160.
