Apple has released the third round of developer betas for its 26‑generation operating systems, covering iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS and macOS Tahoe 26.5. The new builds arrive a week after the second beta set that debuted on April 13, and follow the initial March 30 rollout. Each platform now carries a revised build number, for further testing.

iOS 26.5 build 3 (23F5059e) replaces 23F5054h, while iPadOS mirrors the same identifier. watchOS moves to 23T5558e, visionOS to 23O5458e, tvOS to 23L5460d, and macOS Tahoe advances to 25F5058e. Release‑candidate builds for macOS 15.7.7 (24G716) and macOS 14.8.7 (23J516) let developers preview upcoming public updates. Developers can also examine changes to HomePod software, which now runs build 3 (23L5460d) alongside tvOS.

Earlier betas introduced Apple Intelligence to China ahead of schedule and tested EU notification forwarding, while the second iteration hinted at ad placements in Apple Maps. Apple expects feedback to shape the final release, which will roll out to consumers this year across all supported devices.
