Apple has released the second round of developer betas for its 26-generation operating systems, including iOS 26.4, iPadOS 26.4, watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and macOS Tahoe 26.4. The new builds arrive just a week after the first beta versions landed on February 16.

The build numbers have been updated across all platforms, with iOS 26.4 moving to build 23E5218e from 23E5207q, while macOS Tahoe 26.4 advances to 25E5218f from 25E5207k. Apple also released second release candidate builds for macOS 15.7.5 and macOS 14.8.5 alongside the main beta updates.

The first iOS 26.4 beta introduced several notable features including changes to Apple Podcasts and Apple Music, end-to-end encryption for RCS messages, and enhanced Stolen Device Protection. AppleInsider and Apple strongly caution developers against installing beta software on mission-critical hardware, recommending secondary devices for testing instead.
