Ultrahuman has launched its massive Emerald update for its app, highlighted by the introduction of "Ultra Sphere," a "decision engine" designed to provide users with actionable health and fitness advice. This new feature can deliver over 60 "Next Best Action" suggestions tailored to individual users based on factors like location, weather, profile, and biomarkers such as sleep and HRV.

The Emerald update also brings significant improvements to VO2 Max algorithm accuracy, boasting a 21% increase, and enhanced heart rate accuracy and workout detection for its smart rings. The app's user interface has been refined for better clarity and includes new features like light and dark modes.

CEO Mohit Kumar emphasized that while wearable trackers provide data, users need guidance on what to do with it. Ultra Sphere aims to fill this gap by leveraging the app's Jade AI and user data to offer personalized recommendations, such as "Get Light" to improve alertness and sleep. The update is rolling out globally starting July 23.
