The most noticeable visual change is to the camera bar. The cutouts are now positioned closer to the edge, and the autofocus sensor has been relocated beneath the flash. This updated design, shared by Evan Blass, indicates Google's strategy of refreshing hardware designs every few years rather than making annual overhauls, focusing instead on improving existing features.

Speculation also surrounds the significantly larger camera flash, hinting at the potential integration of Google's rumored "Pixel Glow" notification system.
