Motorola rolled out the Moto G Stylus 2026 as a budget alternative to Samsung’s flagship S26 Ultra. Priced around $500, it adds an active stylus with pressure sensitivity and tilt detection for the first time in the G line. Specs include a 6.7‑inch OLED screen reaching 5,000 nits, IP69 protection, a 50 MP camera and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip carried over from last year.

Samsung counters with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, a true flagship equipped with a Flex Magic Pixel OLED “Privacy Display” that narrows viewing angles at the press of a button. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy and up to 16 GB RAM, it sports a 6.9‑inch QHD+ panel, 200 MP main sensor, 5,000 mAh battery and 60 W wired charging.

Both phones rely on battery‑charged pens that snap into slots, delivering about 100 hours of use per charge. Motorola adds OS shortcuts like drag‑and‑drop image placement and a Handwriting Calculator, while Samsung offers AI Select, AI Drawing and Air Commands, though Air Actions are gone for a second year. For consumers, the Moto G Stylus 2026 gives a functional pen experience at half Samsung’s premium price.
