Google I/O delivered fresh AI creative tools, with Flow and Flow Music receiving upgrades powered by the new Gemini Omni Flash model. Flow expands into an AI creative studio bundling Imagen, Veo, and Gemini, while Flow Music adds conversational AI for guiding track styles, subjects, and scenes. Both roll out to Google AI subscribers globally.

Flow Music leans on the Lyria 3 Pro model for AI-generated tracks, but I/O brought granular controls: highlight any section for edits, translate or rewrite lyrics, restyle beat drops, and reimagine rock as lo-fi. These aren't just generative gimmicks—they give creators actual direction over their output.

Google also launched the Flow Agent, an AI assistant handling complex creative tasks like video edits and scene adjustments, available now for all Flow users. Flow Tools let users build custom tools like color shaders without coding. Google is also rolling out C2PA Content Credentials to verify whether content is AI-modified.
