Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE, a more affordable addition to its flagship lineup. The device launches with One UI 9 based on Android 17, beating the rest of the Galaxy S26 series to the latest software. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, matching its predecessor. Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 2500 SoC, which Samsung claims offers enhanced AI capabilities and improved CPU performance. The battery capacity remains at 4,900mAh, supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

In the camera department, the S26 FE boasts a triple rear setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto. It also includes Super Steady and Nightography modes for better low-light shots. A notable feature is My Fan Cam, which intelligently reframes video to keep a subject in focus during concerts or events. Photo Assist and Gemini Omni are also integrated for AI-driven editing and content creation.

The Galaxy S26 FE will be available starting September 3 at select carriers, with a wider release on September 4 via Samsung.com and other retailers. It comes in Pistachio, Blueberry, and Graphite color options, with 8GB of RAM and storage choices of 128GB or 256GB. The price is set at $699. Samsung also promises seven years of software updates, ensuring long-term support.
