AT&T has launched OneConnect, bundling unlimited 5G mobile and fiber internet into single monthly bills starting at $90. The Family plan stands out at $225 for up to 10 lines, working out to just $22.50 per line with fiber included. Plans include taxes and fees, which is rare in today's market.

However, there's a significant catch: the offer is only available to new customers. Existing AT&T wireless or fiber users cannot switch their current accounts to OneConnect. The plans are also bring-your-own-device only, with no discounted phone deals available. While AT&T advertises unlimited connectivity, mobile lines don't include hotspot access, and data may be deprioritized in congested areas.

The bundle represents a departure from AT&T's usual flexible options, offering a one-size-fits-all approach instead of allowing customers to mix and match different plan tiers. For large families who primarily use Wi-Fi and need basic cellular data, the Family plan offers compelling value. But those requiring mobile hotspots, device financing, or priority data will find the limitations restrictive. The new-customer-only restriction particularly frustrates loyal subscribers who are essentially told to wait behind new sign-ups.
