Deadline reports that Tom Selleck has been confirmed as a guest star on an upcoming Apple TV comedy series starring Elizabeth Banks. The show, previously titled 'We’re All Gonna Die,' is led by Banks as Heidi, a recently divorced woman navigating life with her kids while managing her father’s retirement community antics. Created by Liz Heldens and Matt Ward, the series features a notable ensemble cast including Ted Danson, Hamish Linklater, Rob Delaney, Michelle Buteau, Simu Liu, Jared Goldstein, and Spencer Moss.

Apple TV ordered the half-hour comedy in April 2024, with production by 20th Television. Selleck’s role remains undisclosed, though he is known for Magnum, P. I., Friends, and Blue Bloods.

The series joins Apple TV’s growing slate of original comedies. Apple TV+ is available for $12.99 per month or via Apple One bundle, offering access to hits like Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Morning Show.
