AI company Perplexity has launched Perplexity Health, a new feature that integrates with Apple Health to access user health data. The service aggregates information from various health apps, wearables, and medical records to create personalized dashboards tracking biomarkers and trends over time. Perplexity Health can now answer medical questions using lab results, wearable data, and medical literature.

Perplexity Health draws from clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed journals, with a dedicated advisory board of physicians and researchers to ensure content quality. The system connects to Apple Health, Fitbit, Ultrahuman, and Withings, plus electronic health records from over 1.7 million care providers. Oura and Function integrations are coming soon. AI agents through Perplexity Computer can build personalized fitness and nutrition plans using this health data.

The feature is rolling out to Pro and Max users in the U.S. first, with health data encrypted and not used for AI training or sold to third parties. Perplexity joins OpenAI as the second AI company to integrate with Apple Health, following ChatGPT's similar feature introduced in early 2026.
