Opera One desktop browser has received two significant updates: optional vertical tabs and expanded Google Lens integration.

The new Vertical Tabs feature replaces the traditional horizontal tab bar with a resizable side panel, displaying favicons and full tab titles. Users can opt for an icon-only view to maximize screen space for web content. This setting can be enabled in the browser's settings under Browser > Tabs.

Opera has also enhanced its existing Google Lens integration. Users can now initiate image searches directly from the Opera One homepage via the search bar. The functionality allows for image searches using local files, by pasting from the clipboard, or by entering an image URL. Search results will then load within the current tab, offering a more seamless visual search experience.
