Out of the box, NeoCam offers core filters like Game Pal for a classic Game Boy screen look, Mermaid with a blue scheme, and Hope with a red/blue filter, plus two grayscale options. Within each filter, users can adjust exposure, pixelation, and dither strength. Custom filters with personal color palettes can be created and shared with the community. The app also captures video and can import existing photos to apply retro styles.

NeoCam is free on the App Store for devices running iOS 18 and later. The free version includes photo capture with numerous filters. NeoCam Plus costs $5.99 as a one-time purchase to unlock video recording, dithering of library photos, additional aspect ratios, and a watermark-free experience.
