Apple TV+ has released Outcome, a new comedy film starring Keanu Reeves alongside Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer. The movie, co-written and directed by Jonah Hill, premiered today after being announced at Apple's February media event. The dark comedy follows Hollywood star Reef Hawk as he confronts hidden demons after being blackmailed with a damaging video.

Reeves plays the lead role of Reef Hawk, with Diaz as his lifelong friend Kyle and Bomer as Xander. Hill also appears as Ira, Reef's crisis lawyer. The film's plot centers on Reef's desperate attempt to identify his blackmailer by making amends with everyone he may have wronged. Apple TV+ subscribers can stream the movie for $12.99 per month as part of their subscription.

The film's reception has been tepid, scoring just 22% on Rotten Tomatoes. While critics panned Hill's writing and directing, Reeves received more favorable reviews. IndieWire called it a "desperate and unfunny comedy," but Aaron Neuwirth from We Live Entertainment noted Reeves was "clearly game to lean into what the story is calling for."
