At $1,449.99, the uGreen NASync DXP6800 Ultra offers six drive bays, dual 10GbE, and Thunderbolt 4, making it a strong choice for high-speed storage rather than AI tasks. Its Intel Core 5 120U processor lacks a dedicated NPU, so on-device AI runs on the CPU, which is capable but not cutting-edge. The unit supports up to 208TB of storage with RAID options and features UGOS Pro, 8GB DDR5 RAM (expandable to 96GB), and a 128GB SSD for system files.
Power draw is modest at 43W during drive access, though it can spike to 60W under heavy I/O load. Designed as a shelf-mounted tower, it measures 11.6 x 10.2 x 7.4 inches and includes front Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, and an SD 4.0 slot. Rear ports include HDMI 8K, additional USB, and a PCIe Gen4 x4 slot.
While marketed as an AI powerhouse, it performs well for file serving, Docker, and streaming, making it a practical, expandable NAS for users prioritizing speed over AI capabilities.
