This year's iPhone lineup is anticipated to feature the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone Ultra. The most significant divergence lies in their form factor: the iPhone 18 Pro will maintain the traditional iPhone design, while the iPhone Ultra is expected to be Apple's inaugural foldable device, boasting an outer display and an inner screen resembling an iPad mini.

Camera technology will also differ, with the iPhone 18 Pro retaining Apple's best and most innovative features. While the iPhone Ultra is expected to share many camera capabilities, it will reportedly lack a Telephoto camera, a feature that will remain exclusive to the Pro line and is rumored to see further improvements.

Both models are slated to feature the same A20 Pro chip. However, performance could vary due to design and material differences. The iPhone 18 Pro will use an aluminum unibody with a vapor chamber for cooling, similar to its predecessor. The iPhone Ultra, with a titanium design, might also include a vapor chamber. Despite sharing the same chip, the Ultra's performance might be affected by heat during demanding tasks or in direct sunlight.
