Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro will bring several design refinements alongside its next-generation processor. The Dynamic Island will shrink as Face ID components move under the display, creating the smallest notch yet. Apple will also unify the two-tone rear design with better color blending between aluminum and glass areas. The star of the hardware upgrades will be the A20 Pro chip, built using Apple's first 2nm process.

Camera improvements continue to be a focus for Apple's flagship models. The iPhone 18 Pro will reportedly feature a variable aperture main camera allowing greater control over depth-of-field. Users can choose between shallow, medium, or deep focus depending on their creative needs. Apple is also developing a wider aperture Telephoto camera. Battery life will see improvements across the Pro lineup.

Apple will refine its Camera Control feature with version 2.0, simplifying touch-sensitive gestures for a more user-friendly experience. The company continues its transition away from Qualcomm modems, with the C2 modem expected to debut in the iPhone 18 Pro models. Apple's in-house modems have already demonstrated efficiency and battery improvements over Qualcomm's offerings.
