Apple will roll out iOS 27 at WWDC’s opening keynote, and the update promises a suite of AI‑driven iPhone upgrades. The headline change is a standalone Siri app that behaves like a chatbot, leveraging large language models for world knowledge and deeper app integration. A new Dynamic Island design and system‑wide “Ask Siri” buttons aim to make voice commands feel more natural today.

Photos gains three AI tools—Extend, Enhance and Reframe—letting users generate content beyond the frame, auto‑adjust color and lighting, or shift perspective after a shot. A partnership with Google’s Gemini will sharpen the existing Clean Up feature. Meanwhile, the Camera app adds a Siri mode that applies visual‑intelligence scans for nutrition labels and contact info, expanding on iOS 18’s foundation.

Wallet adds a “Create a Pass” flow, letting users scan QR codes or design passes from membership, event or generic templates. Health abandons the subscription plan and bundles AI coaching, physician videos, and richer nutrition tracking for free, though some items may arrive later. Autocorrect will suggest grammar alternatives, Safari can auto‑name Tab Groups, nudging the iPhone further into AI.
