iOS 27 is one of Apple's most AI-focused iPhone updates, with Siri AI as its headline feature. Powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence and new Apple Foundation Models, Siri AI offers richer conversations, personal context, broader world knowledge, on-screen awareness, and deeper app actions. On iPhone, Siri AI introduces a new visual experience tied to the Dynamic Island and a dedicated Siri app for revisiting conversations across devices. Visual Intelligence also integrates with Siri, including a new Siri mode in the Camera app.

Beyond Siri and Apple Intelligence, iOS 27 includes refined Liquid Glass design with a new transparency slider, performance improvements for app launches and Photos loading, and AI-powered enhancements across apps like Photos, Safari, Mail, and Messages. Additional changes include customizable slideshows, smoother Camera behavior, and AI-generated wallpaper creation.
