Apple's iOS 26 introduced Liquid Glass design and several customization options for iPhone users. The update includes a new toggle for the Liquid Glass appearance, offering both clear and tinted opacity settings. Users can now adjust system-wide contrast and readability through the Display & Brightness menu.

Additional customization features include the ability to disable the Lock Screen camera swipe gesture, which previously couldn't be turned off. iOS 26.1 added this option in Settings under Camera controls. The update also brought back classic sliding gestures for alarms and timers, with an accessibility setting to prefer single-tap actions instead.

iOS 26.2 expanded notification accessibility with a new screen flash option alongside the existing camera flash alert. Users can now pair both visual cues for maximum impact. The Lock Screen clock opacity slider was also enhanced, allowing for greater transparency control when using the Glass clock style. These incremental updates demonstrate Apple's focus on user customization while maintaining its signature design language.
