Canva has added a connector to Perplexity Computer, the Mac‑native assistant that automates tasks across local and cloud apps. The new integration lets the platform’s agents generate editable Canva assets directly from data, prompts, or meeting notes. Subscribers can now ask the desktop agent to turn a brief or competitive analysis into a polished design without leaving the workflow.

Perplexity’s connector library already includes services like Notion, Google Drive, GitHub and SharePoint, so adding Canva expands the design‑centric capabilities for business users. Canva’s Head of Ecosystem said the link shortens the gap between insight and usable output, while Perplexity’s business development lead noted that small teams can now produce presentations, videos or brand kits entirely within the assistant’s environment.

The connector is available to Perplexity Pro, Max, Enterprise Pro and Enterprise Max customers, extending premium tiers with native design tools. By pulling data from meeting notes, performance metrics and live web context, the agent builds structured briefs that Canva instantly renders as on‑brand presentations, social campaigns or infographics. This seamless handoff reduces manual copy‑pasting and accelerates content creation for growing businesses.
