Bitrig, a vibe coding platform created by ex-Apple engineers who co-developed SwiftUI, has launched a Mac app that lets developers build iPhone apps through simple prompts. The platform, which debuted on iOS last October, now offers a desktop version that generates actual Swift and SwiftUI code.

Users can create apps that ship directly to TestFlight or the App Store. The Mac version provides access to the full Xcode toolchain and every iOS SDK framework, making development more comfortable on larger screens with full keyboards. The app includes an integrated iPhone simulator for previewing projects and allows one-click deployment to connected devices.

Bitrig supports image uploads and lets users read and edit code manually, helping them learn Apple's development language syntax. Users can export projects as standalone Xcode files for further customization. The platform operates on a credit system, with free accounts receiving 5 daily credits and Plus subscribers getting between 200-1,600 monthly credits depending on their tier.
