Following the shutdown of TV Time last month, Bingers, a new TV and movies tracking app, has been released by Antonio Pinto, one of TV Time’s co-founders. The app is now available for download on iOS and Android, serving as a spiritual successor for users seeking a replacement for the popular TV-tracking platform.

Bingers emphasizes community-driven features, including user profiles, comments, episode ratings, GIFs, polls, and character voting. Pinto highlighted these social aspects as crucial to TV Time’s sustained user engagement. "I believe TV Time was a diamond in the rough that kind of lost its way," Pinto stated, noting the platform’s active community despite years of neglect.

For users transitioning from TV Time, an import tool allows previously exported data to be integrated into Bingers. New users can start fresh. The app also provides standard tracking features like dedicated watchlists, viewing histories, and a calendar for upcoming episodes and premieres, displaying the remaining days until release. Bingers is available for free on the App Store with no current in-app purchases.
