The move signals Apple's effort to evolve Siri beyond its current role as a voice assistant buried inside iOS, potentially giving it a dedicated interface where users interact more freely.

iOS 27 will also reportedly upgrade Genmoji with new automatic suggestions, letting the system propose emoji variations on the fly. That feature could make creative expression quicker but may push users toward paid in-app options.
