Apple has announced that Remnants, the first immersive horror film on Vision Pro, arrives this week. A teaser video released by Apple shows real viewer reactions to the film.
Remnants premieres this Friday, October 16, in the Apple TV app, exclusively on Vision Pro. Written and directed by Ti West, the film takes viewers inside Woldmere Castle and the terrifying world West has created. It is designed for Apple Immersive, a 180-degree video format built for Vision Pro.
Apple Immersive has previously been used for sports broadcasts and documentary-style short films. Remnants marks its first foray into horror, offering fans of the genre a distinctive way to experience scares. The format places the viewer within the film's environment rather than in front of a flat screen.
Readers are invited to share whether they plan to watch Remnants on Apple Vision Pro. The article also highlights several Vision Pro accessories, including AirPods Pro 3, now priced at $199, down from $249.
