Apple Music is receiving two major upgrades in the iOS 27.3 beta, released this week. The most significant addition is the new "Selfie Sing" feature, which allows subscribers to create selfie karaoke videos for sharing on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Discovered by Aaron Perris in the iOS 27.3 beta 1, this tool leverages existing Apple Music Sing capabilities into a standalone video creator.
The second upgrade enhances the lyrics view in landscape mode. Animated artwork from the now-playing screen now bleeds further into the lyrics display, available across all iPhone models. This creates a more immersive visual experience similar to features previously seen on iPhone Duo.
Both updates are currently in beta and expected to ship to all users next month. Apple Music subscriptions remain $11.99/month or via the Apple One bundle. The iOS 27.3 beta also includes other changes to the operating system, though these two represent the primary Music-focused upgrades discovered so far.
