The update also addresses critical functionality issues. Apple fixed a bug where Messages could default to SMS instead of iMessage when paired with dual SIM iPhones. Additionally, the company resolved an issue where Workout app audio alerts would fail to play when the iPhone wasn't nearby the Apple Watch during exercise sessions.
