Apple has shared a first look at Nido de Villanas, a tongue-in-cheek Mexican microdrama shot entirely on an iPhone 17 Pro, now available as 14 Shorts on YouTube. The series follows four women vying for the Iturribiaga fortune in a parody of classic telenovelas.

Part of Apple’s long-running Shot on iPhone campaign, the first-look video highlights the device’s camera features, including Action Mode, 8x optical-quality zoom, slow motion, and focus adjustments. Each episode runs about two minutes, showcasing over-the-top plot twists and exaggerated camerawork.

The 14 Shorts serve as both a playful homage to Mexican drama and a demonstration of the iPhone 17 Pro’s video capabilities. Viewers can watch all episodes via the Shorts gallery on Apple’s YouTube channel.
