Apple is currently promoting two opportunities for consumers to save on new hardware purchases: sales tax holidays and a Back to School deal. This comes after recent price increases on many Apple products.

Several US states are offering sales tax holidays this summer, allowing purchases of Apple products tax-free on specific dates. States with upcoming holidays include Arkansas (Aug 1-2), Florida (Jul 20-Aug 20), Massachusetts (Aug 8-9), Missouri (Aug 7-9), New Mexico (Jul 31-Aug 2), South Carolina (Aug 7-9), Tennessee (Jul 31-Aug 2), Virginia (Aug 7-9), and West Virginia (Jul 31-Aug 3). These holidays can result in significant savings, especially in states with high tax rates.

Additionally, Apple's Back to School promotion, valid until August 27, offers qualified purchasers, including students and educators, up to a $150 Apple gift card with the purchase of select Mac or iPad hardware. The highest gift card amount is available with the purchase of a MacBook Pro. Purchases of MacBook Air, iPad Pro, or iPad Air qualify for a $100 gift card. Shoppers may also find competitive deals on Apple products from other retailers like Amazon.
