Apple Music users can now discover and purchase concert tickets directly through the app thanks to partnerships with Ticketmaster and Bandsintown. The feature, rolling out with iOS 26.4, surfaces upcoming gigs from artists in your library and offers one-tap ticket buying.

The integration works through Bandsintown’s platform, which adds a dedicated Concerts tab to Apple Music’s Search function. Users can browse shows by location, genre, or date, while artists gain visibility via an “Upcoming Concerts” section on their profiles. Ticketmaster, already embedded in Apple’s Maps and Shazam, now provides direct ticket links within Apple Music event listings, streamlining the path from discovery to purchase.

Push notifications will alert users to nearby shows based on their listening history, prioritizing artists they frequently stream. This expansion builds on existing collaborations, as Ticketmaster already powers event data across Apple’s ecosystem. The update positions Apple Music as a centralized hub for music discovery and live event planning, competing with Spotify’s similar features.

The move underscores Apple’s push to deepen user engagement beyond streaming. By bundling ticket access with personalized recommendations, the platform aims to become an essential tool for concertgoers. $10.99/month for Apple Music includes this feature, with a free trial available.
