Apple has just released iPadOS 27 in public beta, letting anyone test the new software ahead of its fall launch.

To install, enroll your device on beta.apple.com, then in Settings → General → Software Update select the iPadOS 27 Public Beta and tap "Update Now." Be inboxed that beta builds may contain bugs and performance hiccups.

The update delivers faster Air Drop, browsing, and file transfers, plus a host of new features: Siri AI is now in a dedicated app and can be invoked with a pull‑down gesture that opens search, merging Siri and Spotlight. A new Liquid Glass slider lets you tweak the UI, while Apple Intelligence powers custom wallpapers and a Grammarly‑style keyboard. Other changes include larger widgets, status‑bar app names, resizable iPhone apps, and an optional persistent menu bar.
