Apple achieved a record 49% of global smartphone revenue in the second quarter, according to Counterpoint Research. Despite a market-wide decline in shipments, Apple's revenue surged 22% year-over-year, marking its highest Q2 revenue share. The company also saw its shipment share climb to 21%, though it remained behind Samsung's 23%.

Apple's average selling price increased to $946, driven by sustained demand for its premium iPhone lineup. While other manufacturers raised prices due to component shortages, Apple maintained stable pricing, strengthening its market position. This strategy proved particularly effective in China, Europe, and emerging markets, where Android price hikes enhanced Apple's relative value.

Despite this strong performance, Apple anticipates increased supply constraints in the upcoming September quarter, impacting iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
